DMCA Policy

Last updated: April 11, 2026

iShe respects intellectual property rights. We are a video distribution and marketing software platform — we do not publish or host content on our own website for public consumption. Instead, our creators use our tools to distribute their promotional videos to third-party marketing channels of their choice.

This policy explains how we handle copyright concerns that arise during the distribution pipeline, and how we help our creators protect their own work from unauthorized use elsewhere on the web.

1. How Content Flows Through iShe

When a creator subscribes to iShe, they may upload promotional videos through their dashboard. These videos are stored temporarily in our processing pipeline while our team prepares them for distribution (titles, tags, thumbnails, optimization) and then delivers them to the third-party marketing channels the creator selected.

iShe does not operate a public video library. Videos are not browsable on ishelab.com by visitors, and we do not monetize or display creator content to the public from our own website.

2. If You Believe Your Copyright Is Being Infringed Through iShe

If you believe a video currently in our distribution pipeline infringes your copyright — for example, if someone uploaded your content to iShe without your permission and is using our service to distribute it — please notify our Copyright Agent with the information described in Section 4. We will investigate promptly, remove the material from our pipeline, halt any pending distribution, and, in cases of repeat infringement, terminate the offending account.

Because our pipeline is time-limited, please report suspected infringement as soon as possible so that we can act before the content reaches the destination channels.

3. Content Already Distributed to Third-Party Channels

Once content has been distributed to a third-party platform, that platform becomes the host. Removing it from the destination typically requires contacting that platform's own copyright team. We can assist in two ways:

  • If you are an iShe creator and your own content is being used without permission elsewhere, our team can help you draft and submit DMCA takedowns to third parties on your behalf. This is included in Pro and Agency plans.
  • If you are a rights holder and your content was distributed through iShe without authorization, notify us using the process below and we will cooperate fully, including providing information where legally required to help remove the content from destination channels.

4. Filing a DMCA Notice

To submit a copyright infringement notice, send a written notice to our designated Copyright Agent that includes all of the following:

  • A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf
  • Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed (include links or descriptions of your original work)
  • Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing, including enough information for us to locate it (creator username, video title, date of upload, or any relevant URL)
  • Your contact information (name, address, phone number, email)
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
  • A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the copyright owner's behalf

5. Copyright Agent

Send notices to our designated Copyright Agent:

iShe Copyright Agent

Email: dmca@ishelab.com

Subject line: "DMCA Notice — [brief description]"

6. Our Response

Upon receipt of a valid notice, we will:

  • Review the notice within 24–48 hours
  • Remove any matching material from our processing pipeline
  • Halt any pending distribution of the material
  • Notify the user whose content was removed
  • Terminate accounts of repeat infringers
  • Where possible, assist in coordinating removal from destination channels if the content was already distributed

7. Counter-Notice

If you believe your content was removed from our pipeline in error or misidentified, you may submit a counter-notice containing:

  • Your physical or electronic signature
  • Identification of the material that was removed and where it was located before removal
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification
  • Your name, address, telephone number, and email address
  • A statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the federal court where you reside, and that you will accept service of process from the person who filed the original notice

If we receive a valid counter-notice, we may restore the affected account's pipeline access unless the original complainant files a lawsuit within 10 business days.

8. Content Protection Service for Creators

As part of our Pro and Agency plans, we actively help creators protect their content from unauthorized use across the web. If you are an iShe creator and find your promotional videos being used without permission — whether they were originally distributed through iShe or not — contact us at hello@ishelab.com with the subject "Content Protection" and include:

  • Links to your original content
  • Links to the infringing copies
  • Proof of ownership (timestamps, original files, etc.)

Our team will draft and submit DMCA takedowns to the destination platforms on your behalf. This is a free service for subscribers on Pro and Agency tiers.

9. Repeat Infringers

It is our policy to terminate accounts that repeatedly infringe on the copyrights of others. Subscriptions paid by terminated accounts are non-refundable.

10. False Claims

Under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, any person who knowingly and materially misrepresents that content is infringing, or that content was removed by mistake, may be liable for damages. Please only file a notice if you are certain of your rights and that the use is unauthorized.
